Our aim is to help shine a light on some of the social issues that have become somewhat forgotten about in the modern society that many of us are now accustomed to. We will cover the impact these now social norms have on our quality of life including the way we are governed.
While the people are suffocated with work, debt and basic living expenses for themselves and their dependents there is very little time left in the day for us to challenge, protest or even investigate into the very same system that continues to hold us in these humiliating standards of living. We are where they want us; in fear of losing our jobs, becoming homeless and having no food for the family. It will take extreme courage and sacrifice to break this disgusting exploitation of the people but we must continue this fight together if we are to make a change that will better the lives of us all.
We are all living in an unjust system which is designed to only favour a select few, we can sell our one and only lifetime working towards the continuation of their prosperity or fight for what’s truly ours.
As our nation’s hoarded wealth passes tax free to the next generation of entitled trust fund beneficiaries, only crickets can be heard from our capital. No words on how this gross inequality has rapidly grown over the recent years, not one word for the homeless left shivering on the street, the sick living in pain without treatment, the elderly being denied heat or the children going without meals. There are no words for the people exploited more each year like cattle to make room for the growing corporate greed. The hamster wheel continues in Westminster regardless of who holds the seats as the rich pull their strings while feeding them treats.
I am the reason your vote means so little today. I broke down our nation’s great infrastructure and placed it into the hands of a wealthy few; many of whom have never stepped foot anywhere near where their investment sits. This handful of people do not fear your government nor you as I’ve given them full control of your future. Your life is now and forever free to exploit by these few people whose names you’ll never know and their profits will always be safely hidden away from benefiting you in anyway.
We will refuse gifts and donations from businesses that have a vested interest in destroying our society and close the tax loopholes we have made available to them. We shall put an end to exploitation through essential living needs by renationalising our utilities, transportation, postal services and health care. We shall start building homes and stop the entitlement of large property portfolios being passed on to the next generation. We will abolish the Monarchy and bring opportunities to all citizens by breaking up unjustifiable class divisions.
Thatcher; a person who broke the progress of our past and destroyed our hope of a better future has been honoured with statues and praised by our prime minister; a man with enough cash to house every homeless person on our freezing streets this winter but believes taking away their tents would be more beneficial. This party has melted down all our infrastructure and placed it into the hands of a wealthy few; some of which have never stepped foot in the country they are exploiting. Sadly it has now reached the point where our healthcare is nearly nonexistent and instead of treating the sick they are being forced into labour to increase the wealth of the very same people who benefit from the hardships of us all.
Come sixth of May millions of us will be wrapped up in flags, glued to TV sets and feeling a sense of pride towards the monarchy, the question is where is the real patriotism towards our nation? Does this new figurehead really represent who we are today? Is worshiping this person and their family really what we want handed down to our children? Loving our country is not loving a crown, monument or individual. It is loving our neighbours; the people we share this land with. If we put half as much energy into helping each other rather than obsessing with such nonsense just imagine how much stronger we could become. Perhaps we could start by asking the person next door their name instead of worrying about what Harry will be wearing at the coronation.
Non-dom status, companies set up offshore and assets kept in trusts are only a few of the tax loopholes available to the rich yet the Tory tax dodgers and their beloved “Daily Mail”(an offshore entity set up in Bermuda) still like nothing more than having a good rant about how the disabled and those working for poverty wages are the problem. The actual problem couldn’t be anymore obvious as the facts are being waved in our faces so when will we take action.
